Oh yes.And mine got better, much better, and was sweet as pie again by two and a half-ish--but we did have bedtime wars too, at almost the exact same age. They got better, even through the big girl bed transition.

And I hate to warn you because I HATED hearing this when mine was two, but three? So way worse. The beginning part of three was fine, but now?? Especially with sibling issues

Oh, yeah. E was an awesome 2-yr-old, totally rational, mature thinker, etc. We were all patting ourselves on the back for being so awesome, and then about a month ago, we got our terrible 2-yr-old, even though she will be 3 in a month.

Oh, my, this sounds bad. We went through a bad patch with our 14-month old, because she figured out for herself that she likes outside better and wants to go outside all the time, even when I'm on bed rest and Dad is cooking dinner. Lots of screaming and crying.

My older daughter is my step-daughter, so I don't know anything between 14 months and 6 years. I'll try to prepare for 2 and 3.

We're starting to see glimpses of the terrible twos already, at 16 months. Lots of foot-stomping and pouty bottom lip-pushing. The kid's adorable, but I'm already worn out and more than a little scared, especially when I read posts like this.

I've heard this terrifying fact, too. I only hope that because my terrible is a girl and not a boy, that she will turn back into an angel at three instead of grow more and more evil.
Although, my husband asked my Mom yesterday when they become sweet again and she said, without missing a beat, "when they're 18, if you're lucky." Nice.

I have so been there. Unfortunately, and I only say this as a warning, I've discovered that as bad at the two's can be, three was worse for use (especially with my boys). When I began complaining about it, just about every mom said, "Haven't you heard? Three is worse than two!" I do believe that's something they should warn you about--way back before you conceive. Just to get you psyched up
